Why you should be a cheerleader
Have you ever wanted to do the splits, a handstand walkover, or even a cartwheel well you should try out cheerleading. Hi im alexis and this is why you should be a cheerleader.
Firstly, It keeps you fit
Have you ever wanted to beat someone in a arm weasel well cheer would make you strong. Personally I train 9 hours a week this includes doing extra practices and private lessons. Cheerleading isn't just dancing dancing with pom poms and doing all different jumps and tumbling also stunting if u dont know what stunting is well ill tell you. Stunting is where you have a back base, two side bases and one front base also the flyer the flyer gets chucked into the air to do their tricks. Well when i say chucked i mean flown by the bases.
Secondly, friends.
At The start of the term I knew absolute nobody But now all 14 people in my team are my friends. You can have team bonding dinners or go to cool places. My team recently went to winnie bagoes for dinner and we had a very awesome time.
As cheerleading isnt as popular in new zealand is it is and america you have to travel further for competitions. But this isn't a bad thing is it. As you would get to experience new places. In 2 weeks time i will be in North shore auckland competing at spring carnival championships. The more I win the further i get to go. A team from my season just competed in china to represent new zealand. Have you ever represented new zealand in anything? Now you have heard all my reasons why i think you should become a cheerleader and who knows we could become great friends too.

my whanau story
Ariana is an extraordinary Mother. Her talent is like hearing all the birds and animals singing. She is very good at singing her voice is so beautiful and amazing. Everyone says she’s going to be the next Michael Jackson except a girl.
It was a sunny evening, Ariana was casually singing in the shower. She came out of the shower, And her mum though she had the most wonderful voice. And that she was great at singing. Ariana said she wanted to be just like Beyoncé when she grew up.
Ariana applied to go on The Voice, When she was only Ten. She didn’t get in because of her age. Then she went back again only this time she was sixteen, And had more practice. She got to coaches but in the next level she didn’t get though. Ariana got some singing lessons to improve her voice, and tried again. She said “This is my last time trying.” Ariana tried her absolute hardest and guess what she got a GOLDEN BUZZER! She was so excited.
